How to build your stop motion project in Final Cut Pro

Step 1: Open Final Cut Pro and Create a New Project

Step 2: Save Your Project; the title of the project must have the names of your group members and the stop motion exercise you did (for example: "Henry_ShoesTying"

Step 3: Go to User Preferences (under the Final Cut Pro pulldown menu)

The Still/Freeze Duration controls how long each picture will be on screen. The number all the way to the right is the frames You will change the Still/Freeze Duration to 00:00:00:01.

Step 4: Go to File->Import and then select photos from iPhoto

They will be in the Browser in Final Cut Pro

Step 5: Drag them to your Timeline

Step 6: Export your movie to your Desktop
