Animal Animal: Create a composite of two different animals. You will need to find two pictures of different animals from similar angles.

1) Open Photoshop and Create a New Sequence with these settings:
Name: yourname_animalanimal
Width: 1024
Height: 768
Resolution: 72
Go to File--> Save As: yourname_animalanimal.psd
Name: yourname_animalanimal

Height: 768
Resolution: 72
Go to File--> Save As: yourname_animalanimal.psd
2) Place your 2 images into your new project (File--> Place). Move the picture of the animal that you are using the body from below the layer of the other picture.
3) Use the Eraser tool to remove everything from the picture of the animal that you are just going to take the head from. When the Rasterize message appears, click Ok. Remove everything around the head and neck. This will take awhile. It needs to be very precise so take your time!
4) Once you have the head resized, go to Edit--> Free Transform. Hold down Shift and drag one of the corners to resize the head and make it fit onto the body of the other animal.
5) The Clone Stamp tool can be used to eliminate unwanted elements like eyes or mouths.

6) Use the Eraser to remove parts of the head or part of the body that you don't want anymore.
7) Hold down Shift and Click on the Thumbnail in the Layer window. This will select the layer so you can edit the color.
8) While your layer is selected, click on the Create New Fill or Adjustment Layer and select Color Balance.
9) Adjust the color sliders so that the colors align and match up.
10) You can use other tools that we have learned about to finish the job and smooth out the image until they appear seamless.
